Today's bonus holiday is in honor of the Catholic "Feast of the Immaculate Conception." Celebrated on the 8 of December, which is 9 months prior to the the Virgin Mary's birth day (September 8th).If my local staff are any indication, this Holiday tends to be celebrated... by not going to work.
